Guests
The cottage has the highest 5-star rating by Visit Wales and is finished to the highest specification throughout. All rooms look out over fields across the Glyn Valley to the west and the setting sun.
There are three en suite bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and bath with a shower. Another bedroom has a king-sized double bed while the third has twin beds which can be separated or put together.
The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge is spacious with high ceiling and windows along the entire west facing elevation which open to a terrace with outside seating.
The dining area has been designed to seat up to 12 guests which is ideal if the three cottages are booked by one group of friends or family so they can gather together for meals and socialising.
There is a smart wall-mounted TV with Netflix included. A fire hologram stove supplements central heating and adds an instant glow to the room.
It is named after the Sugar Loaf mountain which is the most southerly of the Black Mountains. It is 598m high (1,955ft) and its Welsh name is Pen-y-Fal.
