Treat yourself to deep relaxation

Treat yourself to the deep relaxation of a Shiatsu session during your stay

Want to relax? Want to ease your aches and pains? Want to let go of tension and anxiety?

If so, a Shiatsu session could be an added treat to support whatever activity and tranquillity you are looking for during your stay with us.

Shiatsu is a physical therapy based on the same Eastern philosophy as acupuncture but without the needles.

It originated in Japan from traditional Chinese medicine. It means ‘finger pressure’ in Japanese. In practice, a practitioner uses touch, comfortable pressure and manipulative techniques to adjust the body’s physical structure and balance its energy flow. It can be a deeply relaxing experience and regular treatments can alleviate stress and illness and maintain health and well-being.

Why not give it a try during your stay with us and see what it can do for you.

One of your hosts, John Brooks, is a registered practitioner and Fellow of the Shiatsu Society (FRSS) qualifying in 1999.

Sessions last around an hour and can be given on a futon or treatment table. The receiver remains fully clothed. Loose natural clothes, made of fabrics such as cotton or linen, work best.

To find out more and discuss availability please contact John directly on 07850 758201

We offer an introductory session to guests staying at Welsh Marches for £30.

Go on. Treat yourself.
