Had a very relaxing break in the well-designed Skirrid! Wonderfully quiet and a great place to just switch off from the world!
Beautiful little self contained cottage – everything you need to go self catering. Though we ate out as it’s a holiday from cooking for me!
Hosts were very welcoming and informative.
Weather was wet, windy & miserable but cozy setting + beautiful scenery made it warm, cozy & a relaxing break from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.
We had a super time in Sugar Loaf. A lovely conversion in a serene setting – and perfect for David Broome Equestrian where our daughter was competing. Lovely to meet John + Chris who were very welcoming. Would certainly stay again – big thanks.
Great place to stay with the dogs. Lots of local walks that John has laminated and made idiot proof to follow. We will definitely return for a guided walk perhaps try the Skirrid and the oldest pub in Wales. Fantastic. Thanks.
Had the most amazing break in the Skirrid lodge. Me, my partner + dog will most certainly return! John was the perfect host + made us feel looked after and like we were at home. Everything has been thought about to make this an outstanding stay, from the fresh milk and eggs on arrival, to the warm dog shower. 10/10 – thank you!
Came for a family wedding nearby but this turned out to be so much more than a base to stay! Beautifully decorated, great information, welcoming host + wonderful setting. Really hope we can come back someday. Thank you.
